I'm coming home from work today and stop by Lowe's near my home. I don't live in a very busy area and it's off of a 2-lane road. I go to leave and I pull up to the stop light to wait for it to change. As usual, I wait a few seconds after it changes before going, because people are stupid and like to run red lights. For once it paid off.

Right as a get ready to go, some JACKASS comes flying through the red light and only misses the front of my car by a few feet. The speed limit is 55mph on this road and it seemed like he was going a lot faster than that. I had my child in the car too!

I wanted to seriously chase this dip - s*** down and beat the living hell out of him for endangering my child's life alone. Much less nearly totalling my car and hurting me.

How can people be so fawking inconsiderate and ignorant!? Some people don't deserve the privilege to drive, or even be a part of society sometimes.

Moral of story: It's always good to wait a few seconds before pulling into an intersection, because you never know when some inconsiderate ***hole is going to come plowing through without thinking. A few seconds is definitely worth avoiding a serious accident and injury. Be safe out there everybody and be considerate of other drivers.

i encounter a lot of idiots running right through stop signs in my neighborhood all the time. foliage makes all the intersections mostly blind to cross traffic, so idk how there aren't accidents all the time.
or the a-holes who come flying up my street at 50mph (my street is not a thru street, plus my house is at the crest of a hill so i've almost been hit multiple times).

Had a Q45 blow a light last week in Cincy as I was starting to pass through the intersection. You are right, some people should have their driving priv's removed.

Getting a drivers license is about as easy as getting a gun. Some people just dont need to have them, but thats another thread...

If Im waiting for a green, I always watch the other light turn red and wait to see how long after it turns red when someone flies though it. The thing that pisses me off is when the guy behind you honks AS SOON as the red light is turning off. Like the green light isnt even at full luminosity yet and this fudgepacker is honking at me to go. No patience in the world today.

I live in South Florida. It's a norm to see morons pull up to a light, sit there for a few minutes, and just go, even while it's still red. You have to be one careful S.O.B. to live down here.
