I managed to get a very similar chip on my front bumper over the summer (I also have a silver Rogue). I bought the thinnest brush I could find at an art supply store (I think I used nylon, not 100% sure, though) and applied several coats of touchup paint over the course of a week or so. The pen part of the touchup paint container is hard to use with such a big chip, and the supplied brush was way to big for me. I found that if I applied 1 layer per day (to allow ample time for drying) in a single stroke, I got a fairly uniform paint distribution. The key is to get it in one stroke so you don't end up with too much texture. I finished it off with a thin coat of clearcoat when the filled in area was level with the surrounding area. It isn't perfect, because you won't be able to get it completely smooth (like the rest of the car). But, it looks much better than a chip and could probably be brought to a detail shop eventually to smooth it out.
