so i went to car storage to get some tools out , figured i take few pic's since i got a new cam.

was really dark there had to use night mode still turned out ok.



now since u here ... ihad a problem with my car before i stored it so if u have few sec to dl this 14 m video please listen to it and tell me what u think that taptaptap is thanks!!!

it started making that sound since i changed the clutch , nd only 2500-4500rpm about

hey nice kae-t. glad your rocking the SOHC. the vid is not working for me....

hows your oil pressure? there may just be some air bubles stuck in the lifters/rocker arms since its been sitting for a while. just run it for 15 min. or so and see if it stops.

i figure it may be chain... but lifters may be too. wierd thing its like ratttle snake 2.5- 4.5k rpm tapataptap and above 4.5 nothing! i will try to redo vid.. car is stock.. just gave it light rebuild new gaskets ,chain clutch ...vlsd ... 3" dp and exhaust rb20det t3 ... .. intercoler ...2.75 polished piping.. hks bov.. walbro.. 8psi few times spiked to 10...a&f are ok hmm...timing just stock..

stored till feb 28!!! hahah than gotta fix my tractor effect and install standalone injectors get it paited and than make it to the dyno..gotta let clutch brake in abit too

that sounds like a rod knock to me. i remmeber that sound in my ka24de, god it sucked

it does sound like rod knock, mine sounded like that too between ~2k-4k rpm's, mine was caused cause of ahh.....oil starvation, bad oil pump.......~6-7k rpm & oil light on, that messed up the cylinder head too,lol.
