The Black on black Y33 is a bea-u-ti-ful car :D, but unless your screen name (& 2nd car's locale) are misleading, you can't be entertaining the idea can you?

I love my black on black, but even the Cincy summers can be a bit much at times.

I'd definetely pick up a Y33, like the first one.... They are still too expensive.. I'm not spending anything close to 20s for a Y33... when for just a little more, you can get an M45..

The second one is really nice, not my choice of color, but the mileage is killer... These things need to get cheaper..

Another few years go by, and the M45 will be a real attractive used car.. like it isn't already.. just needs to depreciate some more.

Very nice. Shades of the Shamu interior. I don't like the dark headlight surround or the blacked-out grille like the t and ae on cars with non-dark colors, though.

Yeah, I'm 2yrs into my 4yr cycle. Bought my Q July 02, will look to replace it summer 06, and the current short list is a 01 Y33 or an 03 M45, just depends on what deal I find and what the budget is at the time. The 340 HP's will do alot of talking when the time comes :D

And this will make a very convincing argument as well ...

Which BBS wheels are those?

Kinda looks like a Y33 almost, from the side... It's like the shape of a y33 with more performance then a g50.. I'm sold..

I love Infinitis, and I espically love their depreciation...

Those Y33s are nice. An anniversary edition Y33 is one of the cars on my list as a potential upgrade from my P10 G20t in about four years. The others on that list are a Y34 M45 (preferably Red/Black leather), an E38 BMW 740i Sport, and a 2004 Acura TL...and maybe others because I haven't thought too much about it.

Ah yes... I love those wheels... I think they are about 900-1000, for 18s? I'm trying to decide which wheels to get on my maroon 92 G50...

I was thinking about the RS-GTs or the LMs

Matt,

The 740i sport is sexy as all hell.. I think it trumps even the mighty M45.. All the performance, and better styling... It has James bond appeal as well!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...48876

I've been drooling over that car, since I first saw it appear...

I love Infinitis, but I lust after certain BMWs like nonother..

E36 M3- Growing up as, this is the car I always wanted

M5- this trumps everything.. high revving high horsepower V8, like a VH45de on steroids.. such clean styling

Older 7 series- Beautiful/elegant/fast.. I like the new ones, but I don't like how the dash doesn't connect to the seats or middle part.. It's like a buick... I like how the middle consoles connected on the older 7.

I didn't like the Y33 when it first came out, then the anniversary edition hit... I really like the small touches they made to it..

Tirerack (NICO sponsor) lists the 19" RS-GTs at $826, couldn't find the 18's price

What about Chrome RX's 18's for $517 :D

Rex, you rock :) Actually I think I remember now.. I couldn't find 18s for the RS-GTs... The Lm's are way to expensive, I just can't justify spending around 1,000 per wheel.. I really like the RX chrome, you just showed us. I spent hours on tirerack, but eventually get confused and flustered, with all the BBS selections. I think around 500 is a good limit... gotta get new tires, as well.

Make sure you call and talk to the guys, I'm pretty sure there's a NICO discount, if not it doesn't hurt to ask for one. :D

what's the deal with ASA. They are a division of BBS, or something? Seem to make similar tires, but for half the price...

I'm pretty sure this came up in another thread, but i don't know it to be fact.

Gotta figure, if it's true then there's more than the BBS emblem demanding the bigger $$.

Would these fit?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...49699

On the ASA centercap, it says they are a BBS division, I think??

That's the thing about BBS, you arn't just paying for the name..

Take a look at the "bling bling" wheels, and you will find 24 inch wheels the same price as 18 inch BBS wheels.. BBS makes F1 wheels.. The quality is uncomprimised, and on a big car like the Q, you definetely don't want to skimp on some low quality rims..

Those tires/wheels, are a nice deal on ebay..

I *really* want an 02> Q. That's a short term long term goal.

I've been driving an 01 330ci for the last few days, nice car, belongs to a friend, but I trounced him from a 60mph roll in my 91Q.

Another bud has a 645 on order. *That* I want to drive.

Also drove an 03 911 this week, first Porsche I've ever driven, I could get used to that.

Anyway, for some relevant content, I have a smoking hookup on BBS's, if anyone's interested.

Also, I have a pair of 13x11 rear BBS's from Michael Schumacher's 2000 F1, restored & refinished by BBS, if any bachelors need awesome coffee or end table bases.
