Congrats! looks really sporty, I wouldn't worry too much about the springs for now, if it makes you get in and out easier than before, I'd say keep it, what's a half inch anyway??? just get some 30mm low pros on your next tire purchase... they'd look sexier too!
I think you're referring to the aspect ratio. 30 mm is 3 cm which is like 1.25". The 30 in 225/30/19 refers to the sidewall height as a portion of the width.
So a 225/30/19 will have 225 (mm) X 30% = 67.5 mm sidewalls.
Also, the reference to the sports suspension and lowering springs is due to the gap, not that the car is higher. I'd actually venture to say that the outer diameter of the tires for a 17" and 19" rim are identical.
