I guess i should have just said pics since I haven't posted any before. Bought the car maybe a month or so ago. it was pretty dirty as it was sitting in a friends driveway for about 6 or 7 months. he was gonna do an SR swap but lost interest after buying his 350z....

here's how it looked when I first brought it home

cleaned it up a lot, then got to work. Installed springs and shocks, and some new wheels and tires the other day. It's never gonna be a show queen but it's fun as all hell to drive and this sunday I get to see what it can do at the autox. I'm hoping for good things, it feels great , I'm loving rwd....

here's a couple new pics...

whiteline springs, KYB AGX's, Kosei K1's 16x7.5" et22, Falken Azenis 205/55-16's. Car is a freaking go cart....I love it. And I still got a lot to do. My goal is a nice daily/autox car. So far so good I think. Now I just gotta get my B&M installed...

Looks like she cleaned right up! Keep the outside as close to OEM as possible! I'd pay a handsome fee for your car with clean lines if I was in the market for another

Not sure, I knew TR sold custom drilled Kosei's, so I called about that. I talked to some guy and he said they only had them in 17x7.5" et 35. A little bigger than I wanted to go, and for the same price I'd go 5Zigens instead. Anyway I saw a thread on another forum and they mention still having the blanks in 16x7.5" et 22, so I call and talk to another guy (mod on the other forum) and he mentions they have a couple sets of 16x7.5" et22 in stock, not having to be drilled, they just still had some. 109/wheel. Gimme! I said!

Quote »those are the struts i was planning on getting also, by any chance what springs do you have?
Springs are Whiteline flat out springs. I was liking the linear rate up front and the rears are progressive but stiffer overall than S-techs. I also liked the stance going by the pics on PDM's site. I'm happy with them. Great ride, very responsive. Coupled with the AGX's I like them alot.

good stuff
thanks! I actually saw your cardomain page a while back. i went through all the 240's looking for wheel ideas and pictures of everyone's drop on different suspensions. I'm really wanting to powdercoat my wheels. A bronze like the 5zigens or Buddy Clubs. I'll probably let them get scratched up a bit first since I've been spending like crazy lately. I'll let it settle in a bit

ya the 109 per wheel was the big sale, those you and i got two of the very few sets of these wheels that were left, i think Grant said like 4 or 5 sets lefts when i first inquired.

also the springs, i was going to laugh if you had the same there too, but i think im going with the agx struts with rs*r race springs.

anyway keep up the good work

So how do you feel about remvoing the black vinyl tape around the bottom? I keep thinking about doing it over and over agian, but I just can't bring myself to do it. Does it look better in person without the tape? How do the lines look afterwards? I guess I really need to see it in first person.

I like it without the stripe. I haven't got all the glue off the back bumper yet. I definately like it without the stripe though. I guess it kinda looks like something is missing but it doesn't bother me. It has a huge dent on the other side so I'm not sweatin' the looks of the car right now. Just want to make sure it runs good and handles its *** off.

Without tape looks great! Believe me. The black line is an even huger distraction on a white car.My car with no tape:

MYK: love your car. nice to see someone doing some performance stuff instead of blingin', suspension upgrades really make these cars shine
