I think the front of the f50 trounces the g50, but the g50 looks great from the side and rear.

Nice pics!

Thanks guys,

Actually, other than cool front fascia and bunch of gadgets like voice command systems, I prefer G50 over F50 in every way.F50 rides too much like a Buick, very floaty and light compared to heavy and firmer G50 - like how German car rides. Also seating comfort is much better on G50 whereas F50 seat is way too high and feels like sitting on a minivan - I have short leg.. Dash design is plus too, the overall dash and center console is nicely curved and fitted that even after 13 years, it still looks better than some other current car models' interiors.

Where did you get the clear side markers for the G50? I would love to have some like that!

After looking at these pix, I have to stand by how I've felt. Take the F50 Guts and toss them into the G50 and bam, you have the only car worth driving today. Good looking cars.

Except the G50 guts are much more robust.

That is a fine looking fleet you have there! The modifications you have done to both cars are very tasteful and factory looking...

About the only thing drivetrain wise superior to the G50 on the F50 is the transmission, only because its got an extra gear.

I know, I started thinking about gas mileage as well, which would be nice to see it get up to about 32 highway and 19 city or some where abouts that. I am extremely temped to get another G50, but cost of upkeep these days are hard to justify. I have my eye on either a 2002 Q45 or a 2003 M45. I looked at an M a week ago and my God, I was over impressed. I did tones of research on the 03 M, but sadly I am no where close to impressed with the gas mileage, but its a true Muscle car to its brand and one must consider that. I am not leaving a M45 off the slate because they are much cheaper to acquire these days. I lost the chance to snag a 2002 Q45 for 10,500 the other day, and the only other locally is selling for 12,500 which is way out my range. I figure I will have to finance my next car if I want warranties, and some what something newer with less issues.

Wow that looks super sweet. I saw a M45 yesterday on my way home. Metallic Silver with tints all around. OEM Chrome wheels, black leather interior. It had 109K on it and started up sweet. No ticking noise no smoke out the exhaust at all. It had navi, heated/cooled seats as well. I tried talking the guy down in price. They want 11,500$ for it. If I can get him around 10K then I would be happy. He said he may be able to budge. I am also looking to see if another 2002 Q45 gets on the market. After I move next month I will put the down payment on either a Q45, or M45. One thing about these two makes, is you would be lucky to see these things on the road making them stand out even more.

I guess that makes your Q45 superior in every way than, Mr. 'worlds first 5-speed stickshift Q45'

well..... its all in how you drive it. I can testify and say that I get about 19 city, but I drive it like an old lady after church on Sunday. I also use the best octane gas and that helps. MPG was a concern for me but........... Its funny but, when I drive it........ it begs me to stomp on it, plus I get tested by alot of rice riders and BMW guys, but since I added the rims......... I just chunk the duce fingers and look away.

Complaining about gas mileage from the M45 is like complaining your Prius can't do wheelstands.

Hello,Man is it depressing to see just how cheap Y34's are getting. I purchased my 2004 3 years ago for 27,500.It was C.P.O with the Elite warranty and had 27 thousand miles and equipped with the Technology (Navigation, Intelligent Cruise Control), and Premium (Heated/Cooled Seats, Voice Recognition, Homelink, Full Size Spare) packages.

During this time, the only thing requiring replacement was a TPMS sensor. Otherwise, it has been an excellent car. For the prices you can get one now, they are a ridiculous value. Aside from the lane departure warning system, there are no major options that are not available on the Y34 compared to the 2006+. Same drivetrain as well. The new ones do have much better interior packaging and a better chassis. Strangely, the performance tests are not that much better with the 2006+.

While polarizing, I truly love the way the Y34 looks. It has been the best car I have ever owned. Great Interstate cruiser.Cheers,ML

The bottom has fallen out on all cars... not just the Ms. BMWs, Mercedes,Hummers,RangRovers, etc... They are all on the low side. We just picked up another Mercedes last month. Hell.... Im thinking of unloading the Pathfinder for an H2 Hummer with these low prices. I may even sell my M if the price is right.. Holla at me.
