hello everybody, i just bought my first z a little over a month ago, and im proud of it.

after looking around the car, i found a number 20 fuse in the middle console. upon further inspection i plugged i found that it was for the abs, so i plugged it back into the fuse box. now the brake light is on if i leave it in. any ideas on what is wrong? and how can i fix it? thanks for any help, and input. oh, and sorry if my post isnt correct, or in the right place, this is my first post.

Welcome to NICO!

The location of the thread is fine. No worries there.

If you leave the fuse out, the brake lights work normally? Do the brakes work normally with the fuse plugged in (aside from the lights)?

Depending on how tech savvy you are, you can download the factory service manual from the link in my signature and look at wiring diagrams, etc. If not, we'll try to help you as best we can.

probably the abs pump, mine is always on... fuse keeps it from tripping light.

Thanks for the fast reply and welcome :)... That is correct, nothing seems noticeably wrong with the brakes besides the light. The brakes on this car are very sensitive, they work great.
I think i'm going to take you up on that and look at the manual :)

Is it worth fixing, or should i just leave it ? Because im not sure ABS is all that important to me. i live in southern california, and dont have to deal with snow, and it barely rains
