Hi,
I'm new to the forum and may be purchasing a 84 Nissan 720 4x4 king cab. The price is around $2000.00 It has 151xxx miles on it, body is straight and I couldn't find any rust. I was wondering if I can get anyones feedback on this year and model. Is this a fair price? Is this a good year and model engine wise etc. etc. Are parts easy to find if needed to swap things in the future. Also aftermarket carb etc.

Thanks SX Money Pit, I will check out that forum. bread box, I'm a little concerned about the age and feel the price is high also. The truck seems to be in really good condition, but the age sorta freaks me out a bit. Here is a picture of it.

yeah, definitely seemed to be truely loved by the previous owner. those bars look sick. Definitely a great platform. A ton of 4x4 guys just slap huge domestic axels and swap motors and pull everyone else out.
The stock form is pretty fun but you can pretty much do anything to them. 80's and early 90's had a ton of these minitruck'd.
These pretty much inspired and branched off into the pathfinder.

try to get more info on its history and motor guessing NAPz24 carb'd 4cyl 8 spark. But throwing a KA24e in isn't much a fuss, if you want EFI and turbo.

The Bars look great and it also has nice deep bucket seats. Though I feel it's a bit pricey even if it's in good condition. It has stock motor and he doesn't know if timing chain/ water pump had ever been changed, (I'm assuming not). I'm going to wait a while and see if he drops the price. If it's meant to be, I'll pick it up over the weekend.
Thanks for the input.
