Just in case anyone is looking into getting the CR1's for their s13, unless you are really short, you won't like them. The base of the seat is about 2 inches taller than the stockers. I am 6'1" and it puts me in a very uncomfortable driving position. Fortunately the company that I am doing business with is very helpful and we are going to work out a solution tomorrow.

Just in case anyone is wondering... I went back to Superior Auto Trim in Bellevue and here is what we did.

Since there were really no alternative seats that had a smaller base profile, they remove about 3 inches of the foam and replaced it with about an inch of comfor foam. Now my position is about where it was with the original seats, only far more comfortable. I am really happy with the seats now.

They must be becuase of the placement in the s13's then. I have a cr-1 in my spec v, and i love it. i have a friend that has two cr-1's in her prelude, and she loves it. what was wrong with yours? you know you might have been able to have just fixed the problem by welding the frame to where you needed it on the seat.
