Hey whats up everyone im new to the forum and had a few questions hopefully someone can help me out with. I have a 90 TTZ that i just finished putting the motor together. Im have some issues with the idle with the dual pop. The car will idle completely fine but whenever im driving and come off the gas to a coast or come to a stop the rpms drop (from 3k to 1k) and stalls, but fires back up fine. Just curious if this is due to turbo blow back into the maf? I have a z1 chipped ecu and also am running a afc neo. I was told i should be able to tune this out with the neo but have no idea where to start, if anyone has any ideas let me know. Also oil pressure gauge is fluctuating runs fine under driving conditions and even when car idles usual stays in one spot but occasionally gets pretty low and sometimes kicks back up im thinking oil pressure switch maybe?

is the ecu chipped for the dual intake? have you tried putting just a single filter back on to see if it idles ok?

Yea the ecu is chipped for the dual pop. I have the chip for the single pop setup and it will idle fine and if i rev it and let come back down to idle its fine. With the dual pop it runs fine other than when the rpms drop from any range other than like 1500 to 1k it will drop below idle and stall unless i give it a shot of gas to compensate it. LOL i dunno its weird

might be the IACV, since that would normally be where the valve would take back over and keep the engine running.

Alright guys i think i got it figured out. I have dual greddy type s bov and had them tightened down on hard, and decided to back them off a little today and the car has been running fine. Not stalling at all anymore which is kinda weird figured if the bov is tight it would be fine, rather if it was too loose and leaking that would cause it to stall. I dunno, and i figured out my oil sensor reading problem just a faulty pressure switch so i think i got everything figured out. Thanks for the input
