Some Idiot Paid Me With A Fraudulant Credit Card Help!!!!!!!

OMG I'm so pissed off right now. I sold a PS2 with 8 games to a guy on ebay through paypal for $360, and now I have an email saying that it was paid with a fraudulant credit card. WTF! They need proof that I shipped it to him and need an online tracking number or else I have to pay this. I know it was either UPS or the US Postal Service. I'm not sure if I'll have the evidence. Does anyone know what I can do to find out the shipping information on the package? ARGG..

find out where it was shipped. if sent UPS, I know for a fact that they can track it down for you. they wiull have to go through each scanner of that load to find out. if you remeber the city to where it was shippeed to they can find it. you'll need more info like address too though. the more info the better. do it quick or they may never be able to find it.

I just found the tracking receipt from UPS! WOOHOO! So happy. BTW I ordered some new KYB AGXs for my 240 today, that would have made me out $760 in one day (OUCH), now I'm only out $400 but I'll handle like madd so thats good

hold up. Somoene sends money through paypal from a bogus card, and YOU have to pay the amount if you can't show proof of shipping it? Shouldn't they be going after the person who used the bad card? Sometimes i HATE paypal, but it's so damn convenient it's hard to avoid using it.

Anyway, you shold always keep shipping reciepts safe, in case there's ever a dispute of any kind. I got all of mine in a shoe box in chronological order.

Someone was using my credit card to buy p0rn online. Makes it really fun for me, when I use my credit card for business. I have to go 3 weeks with no credit card, and I need to use it NOW.

yeah sux doesn't it that you have you to pay it yourself. Oh well, this receipt has his address on it, if they want to go after him (and I hope they do) I'll have the information ready in no time. I should meet all the requirements to be covered under paypals insurance program so thats good, just hope they actually do it. :rolleyes
