Hey everyone i'm new to the forums and am considering buying a new 2007 g35 sedan. I currently have a 2005 Acura TL and wanted to to see if anyone had come from Acura to Infiniti and what kind of prices people are getting on the g35.
The reason I am considering leaving Acura is simple; fit and finish. While I am happy with the majority of the features and performance of my car, I am dissapointed in the rattles/squeeks/fades/cracks/etc that have occured in my car. I do however realize nothing is perfect but am trying to get into something with a bit more quality. Thanks in advance!

Interesting...I thought the TL was a little better than the G in "fit and finish". The appeal of the G35 is the fact it's more of a sports car, than a luxury car. The only rattles in my coupe is the AC vents every now and then. Now when I turn up the stereo, the rattles are more apparent. (I have subs).

Yeah I guess when I said performance as something I like about the TL, I really meant reliability of Acura(which Infiniti has similar ratings in). As far as the fit and finish while aestitically nice the interior of my car is borderline falling apart. It seems like the materials weren't up to par with what I thought they'd be.

I'm the guy you want to talk with. I got one of the early '04 3G TL's (vin # below 600) and it was a POS Lemon and Acura had to buy it back... I didin't like the 05 Gs and the new 3 Series & IS were not out yet, so I purchased an 05 TL with my judgement. Mistake. The fit and finish still sucked, the "alarm" doesn't stop intruders (got broken into 4 time & the alarm never went off - had to buy a Clifford), the 1500RPM driveline vibes remained, rotors warped, dash faded, windshild stress fracture, and the transmission whined. There were other issues, but why bore everyone... I just traded it in on an 07 G Journey w/Prem, Navi, Tech & Perf packages --- WHAT A DIFFERENCE. Everyone I know likes the 07 G so much more than the TL... I enjoy driving again and I don't have to crank my XM up to not have to hear the rattles and transmission whine. I'm a huge Acura/Honda fan, but I would NEVER recommend one until they get their act together...
Now to your question, I paid $35,708 for my G35 - $500 over invoice.
