I Just build the SR20 motor a few months ago then ran out of money. On my days off i work here and there on it. i know a lot about cars but am stumped by this.

SR20DET red topBC Cams 264 Intake and exaustT28 TurboStock MAFStock InjectorsOEM ECUFMICNEW O2 NEW Coolent temp sensor

NOTE: Timing set at -5 BTDC then when running goes to -15 BTDC ( Consolt port hooked up )When i start it is fuel fouls the plugs. I checked the injectors and they are all good nothing leaking and cleaned out. The Coils are all good. MAF good i have .32 - .54 volts KOEO with in specs. Still no start. Unplugged it starts and idles for a few seconds. so i though at first it was a MAF problem and got a 2nd and barrowed a 3rd. When i cover the maf with my hand and try to start it it starts and runs perfectly. Any ideas other then a midget under the hood when i am driving it?

Some help would be nice thanks

First i would check mechanical timing by pulling the valve cover and lining the dots up. Also i would degree the cams. BC 264 cams are not drop in cams like the poncams or HKS 264's are. BC cams have to be degreed using cam gears. If you have a buddie with some cams gears borrow them and degree your cams properly. They should fo come with a little card that says what they should be degreed at. The. check your ignitor and pull any ecu codes. Then i would check the tirbo intake. What kind of piping or tubing do you have hooked up to the MAF and turbo. Is there a kink somewhere, also what about any vac leaks? Are you running a atmospheic BOV?

I will check the cam gear timing again. I have gotten jimwolf cam gears in there and i know the mechanical timing is correct because i have checked it a few times to make sure. i will re read over the BC cam installation when i get to work tomorrow it is in my toolbox.

But would it make the car run with a restriction over the intake? I am running a HKS BOV and no vac leaks. no boost leaks. Thinking about putting old cams back in there now that u said something but know it is going to be a pain in the a**... mostly because ihave to bring tools home again.

I pulled the codes there are none i get code 55 System Good and a 0 fault last key cycle I Hooked up the consolt port and own a snapon modis

I Check and adjusted it and cleaned it before i installed it. I tryed all the basics and tryed some ways to test everything. I went to school for automotive and am in the field too but this has me stumped and i know it is something stupid and easy lol

Check IACV, Mech Timing, Coolent Temp sensor, CAS, Coils, ECU, .... Oh s*** i forgot about the ambiant temp sensor lol will have to see that tomorrow

Yeah all the voltages are correct i am going to put the stock cams in to see because i hear the BC cams have to be times in its own self with gears and i want to see for S&Gs
