This Friday nite was particularily hard core when it came to racing.

I raced 3 guys (won all races), one of the guys I was racing (Acura Integra) blew his transmission doing so:(.Another guy flew off into a ditch.:eek:On the bright side I had some hot blondes riding in my car (one of them during a race).Bubbling over with how much a good time she was having (open sunroof , music blasting)

Too bad the two real hot ones, were jailbait.

Fred...:)

How the hell does one fly off into a ditch? Was he checking out the hot blonde? Were you on or off the bottle? What were the other cars? And what kind of example are you setting here Mr. Admin? :D Too bad I wasn't there...

First off, the only "street racing" I do EVER is having a little fun at a light with someone. I do not like to street race, I never have. You want a piece of me, meet me at the track. Chances are I will monkey whore you severely but I am not taking a risk on a ticket/being arrested/wrecking my car on the street by racing. No way.

Now... as far as the "wimping out" statement goes, I NEVER said I was going to race, planned to race or do ANY such thing that evening. I seem to remember a certain author of this thread placing unessesary pressure on me in front of many many others to race but I was not going to jeopardize my safety and risk hurting someone or totalling my car by an impromtu decision to go at it. It's just not me. As a super mod on the board that organized this Friday night meet, I was obligated to stay at the meet, and to set an example for many of the others there.

No anger... No regrets... No problems... Just setting the record straight! ;) :thumbup

Whoa!

Dont get mad I was just teasin...:(You are one of my favorite members of the local scene and I was sorry if you felt pressured.

As for the record:You <had> said u wanted to race on the phone. And when we met, u said u wanted to wait an hour.

Since the girls wanted us to go soon so they could be a part of it, I went to race someone else with the intention of coming back, so You and I could still do it.

When I came back u had changed your mind, I didnt really pay attention who was all around, but the times I do remember, we were alone. There is only one exception, I can (dimly) remember where a couple of other guys may have been around, and I may have said "come on" once, but mostly in good fun.

But I was really curious to see if I was running right and since I know your numbers are half way in between, to what I suspect I was running, and to what this car is supposed to be running all motor, I could have used that run as a refence. So I really would have preferred to run u.

And you had sounded real positive, even eager, earlier that day.

Cuz I wasn't able to run you, I drove all the way to Beech Bend on Saturday for a round trip of 230 miles, which I could have saved if I had been able to check my car against a know reference to see if I am running right.

Fred...:peace:

PS: I would call you now, to clear this up, but I know u had plans today, so I wont.

Ahh.. no matter. I really do want to race you. Just not anywhere in a metro area where the trouble potential is great. Now if we were out in the sticks somewhere in a rural area, perfect! Less chance of there being anyone around and plenty of room. I just cannot risk getting caught doing something like that right now. I do not have the finaicial reserves nessessary for lawyers and insurance increases, and I would risk having to sell my car if any one of those things occurs, simply because I would no longer be able to afford it. Occasional speeding ticket... no problem, but speeding, racing on a public motorway, endangerment, blah blah blah can rack up the expense real quick! I've seen it happen so very often. I just have to be a little more careful than the average motor head out there when it comes to stuff like that, which is why I am a huge fan of the drag strip! No worries, no stress... just GO!
