While I continue to dream of owning a GT-R, as many others are doing as well, lets not forget about the cost of maintaining a GT-R. Just got word of a few parts cost.

The front brake pads alone will set you back $700. I have no idea what the rear pads will cost. Each rotor costs about $1,100. The spark plugs, each one, costs about $50 a piece. Simple brake job might net you $3,000 + in maintenance cost. God knows how much it will cost to buy a new engine.

WOW I dunno Jacko, that's nothing, did you know if you are at the track running full speed, you'll run out of fuel in like 11 minutes.

I agree, the costs would be insane... But, I would just die for one... or give up anything as well... just to sit in one.

Yep! That's about right, for many of us! The GTR is extreme in every sense of the word.

Very scary to think about such a possibility, especially if one looses their engine outside of the warranty period.

SVTCOBRA;

All that neck-breaking performance isn't cheap. I don't know how long a brake or the tires will last, but i do know replacing any component will cost an arm and a leg.

You guys know that each engine is hand made and it could have more horse power or less than what it actually should be.

Wow! That looks great. I wonder hoow many horses the car is producing. I think with all the spear stuff, that car is actually cheap.

The GT-R is an amazing car. I don't know any American road where one could use even a fraction of its capabilities. The stuff of dreams.

This is probably as close as I will ever get, or need to get for that matter.
