Okay, couple of questions about my girlfriend's '93 G20 AT. First, it's leaking antifreeze from somewhere. It's a slow leak, so I can't really crawl under the car and identify where it's coming from. Any common culprits I should look for? Second, occasionally the transmission won't shift from first to second. I've changed the fluid and filter, and that didn't fix the problem. It hasn't done it in a long time, but it still bugs me that it could happen. Any clues of what it could be?

Check the hose fittings on the radiator. Some leaks at the fittings. Not sure about the G20, but most of these cars have plastic radiators and they crack from stress and heat over time. If cracked, do not attempt repair -- you should replace. Also, check the water pump. . . . not sure about the shift issue.

My 240 has a slow leak around the water pump. I'll be replacing that if the weather ever clears up (already have the pump). I'll check on that, although it's harder w/ the FWD. I can't believe how much easier RWD is to work on. The radiator does have plastic ends. That is something to look into. Especially since she once ran it for like 10 minutes w/ the temp. needle pegged. I swear, the gas gauge and speedo are the only things she pays attention to! Thanks for the tips.
