just got a set of used h&r springs and kyb shocks from my buddy steve as he had recently upgraded to full adjustable coilovers for his s14. he installed them on my car yesterday. he also replaced my completely obliterated catalytic converter and my secondary o2 sensor - now i can bring it over to the smog station so that i can finalize my registration. the car runs so much better with the cat and with the check engine light and code cleared.

i also headed to the nearby car wash and spiced up the car a bit. it's pretty much stock except for muffler.

well here are some pictures from today. hope you enjoy!* click on thumbnail for larger picture

thanks 9240sx and ddgsxr504! it's been a continuous project. it was a real beater when i got it (from a friend who left the country). but i have been slowly adding to the car month to month. minimal $ spent... hopefully it will be complete soon. many thanks to steve @ corner3 for the work.

still needs:shift bootfix central locking switchesrear trunk keyholenew tires + alignmentetc. etc.

Yeah, I remember you. You're the guy who restored the beater S14 back to OE spec. It's really coming along fine bro. Great job .

lol, i took it to a "diy" do-it-yourself car wash. no way would i let anyone i didn't know wash my car.

thanks for the comments gang. trying to get the car to run tip-top first. a turbo would be way down the line.
