on my s13 hatch, theres some wierd stuff ive been finding out. for instance, it seems that the hatch does not line up with the body correctly when shut. where it meets the quarter panel on one side, it sits a little low, while on the other side it sits a little high (im talking less than half an inch). This car has no frame damage though, so im a little curious. also, the plastic panels that divide the door window from the rounded hatch glass that says 240sx, there is a little gap under it where it meets the door. one one side i can fit my finger in the gap, but on the other side i cant... is this common or what, my frames straight so what the f***

Best advice is to remove all the panels that you are having trouble with and re install them properly. If you still have fitment issues, then double check the frame. It might be bent. Sounds like the car was in an accident and was put together poorly.

That doesn't mean a whole lot. It's a 240. We piece these things together all the time. Most times, ppl don't report accidents to their insurance company because payouts for 240's is so low, most times. Ppl just fix stuff on their own so the insurance company won't total out the car for something little.

I don't think frame rails have anything to do with this...whether they're bent or not.

Maybe the hatch was taken off and put back on a little off centered...who knows...pics would help out a little bit.

Worst case scenario, the car could have been in an accident at one point and had to have one of the quarter panels replaced and a poor job may have followed. I doubt it's that but who knows.

Like I said before...pics would help out.

Hood alignment and shimming the fenders should help
