ok my blocks at the machine shop getting work done i got my cp pistons and i wanted some opinion form experience people with this engine.

ok ring gap.

i plan on going with

.022 top.025 2nd.015 for oil ring. this is based on cp website specs.

those seem fine. but im curious about piston to wall clearance.

oem is .0006- .0014

i just called cp and he liks 3 or 3.5 thousands should be fine. (.003-.0035) thats seems like alot to me......

i understand there aluminum with a decent amount of silocone, but should it be that loose.

i know several of you guys run cp pistons and was wonder what u had yours set to.

whatever the spec sheet inside the box says for piston to wall clearance will be all the information the machine shop will need.
