Some electrical issues, battery dying, etc

Since I've been waiting on some parts for my Z, I haven't been driving it regularly. If the car sits for a while, the battery is dead within a week. I had the battery tested at an auto shop and the cell is good. the yellow security light on the dash is always flashing when the car isn't being driven, but I don't think that would drain the battery that much would it?

You would be surprised. I have had that thing do it to me more than once. Do you know the cause? If it's the hood switch, just disconnect it and the light will go out.
