I recently acquired a 92 se coupe and picked up a S1 rb25det and thought i checked the ecu code. As it turns out i have the wrong ecu. The ecu code number i have is

BH23710 11U00 MEC-R212 B

and according to this site http://wiki.r31skylineclub.com/index.php?title=ECU I have the RB20DET (ECCS Silvertop) if im not mistaken its from a R32? still not sure if its auto or manual.

Just thought i share this site that i stumbled on.

my other question is are the 32 ecu's compatiable with the r33 s1 engine?

you might have a chipped R32 ecu made to run and rb25. people do it

It took me a month to figure out I had the wrong ecu...The rb20 would never get injector pulse...Good thing you checked it...

yea i was curious since i notice alot of people are getting the wrong ecu with their swaps. took me two days of searching to find a matching part # atleast now i knoe what i have.

bh is definately an rb20det ecu...ive got one on my desk at home...the 20 ecu can be made to run the 25 but i highly doubt that it was converted.

do i have the right ecu for an rb25det i know hes given a website to look at but my number is not on there but other sites i have looked at says its correct my number is 23710 21U60 then the number under that is MEC-R620-A2154 19 if you can help i would appreciate it very much thanks in advance
