ive done lots and lots of searching, so i broke down and made a thread. im doing a 5 speed swap and i have nearly everything to do my 5 speed swap. well, except some bolts.

what size are the pressure plate bolts?

what size are the flywheel bolts? also, what grade?

what size are the bolts that hold the shifter "plate" on the transmission?

finally, what size are the bellhousing bolts? i know the auto ones are too short so what lengh do i need, i believe there are like 3 different lengts.

thanks guys, i feel dumb asking, but i have been searching for literally every day for an hour or so, all week.edit: just to be clear, im looking for the diameter and thread pitch of the bolt, not the size of the head of the bolt.

The bell housing bolts are 10MM however I am not sure of the pitch. I beleive the OEM head bolts are the same.

As far as the flywheel, order OEM replacements, or ARP, you can't just bolt it up with any old bolts you find from napa... http://www.courtesyparts.com/ has a great list of OEM parts and bolts, they are a dealership out of Texas. I usually order my parts though them since I don't like dealing with the dealerships in MN. I have ordered all my broken bolts through them, that way I get the right size, and don't have to worry about it.

well what i think im going to do is, just go down to the fastener store and go buy some bolts and get the highest grade i can. im sure they will work and i wont have to spend 30 dollars on bolts.

Or....you could go to Nissan and talk to a lovely parts person and check the exploded view of a transmission and ask what bolts and deminsions they are depending on your needs. Just a though for the wise.

nothing to lose talking to the douches at the stealership, good idea man!

Yeah....but stealership is a bad word imo, parts may be over priced at first sight but their setting the true value price on factory parts.....hince aftermarket brands making money in most cases trying to duplicate the product nissan made which isnt always the same quality. Always debate on if something is worth going cheep or factory part on, best of luck!
