Solved--If using Media Player 11 record as data CD

Recorded music as data CD and used M3U option (other option may work as well). Resulted in just as described--folders by album with individual songs displayed. Strangely enough, if recorded as audio CD music plays but no text info. Just check as data CD and works fine. Note, you do have option to use no compression or maximum 192k if you want the best MP3 level. I ripped as WMA and format remained. Cheers.
