As many S13 owners know it is just a matter of time until the coolant reservoir begins to cracks and disintegrate. As for me, I am on my third one Anyhow, you can get something fancy from Summit or Jegs but then you have to find a place to mount it. Today I passed by Milano Auto (same Chris Milano from Formula D fame and notorious for being a tad bit on the crazy side) and he hooked me up with this. Its from a 91 Miata and bolts right on using a couple of the stock mounting holes. Fits snug like a bug and looks like the plastic is alot beefier.

Awesome post!

I used to have mine closed off with ducttape for a bit until I could find one from a junkyard.

Its good to know we have alternatives!

Here's a pic of the old S13 btw:http://nissaninfiniticlub.net/...t=500

Cool. I plan on relocating mine where the battery used to be, next to the intercooler piping, to cover up the rust left over from removing the battery tray.

the plastic nissan used is low grade on those. Once you put some heat on it, it's only a matter of time before it starts to deteriorate. I've noticed it always seems to be corner in the back on the fender side. I've had mine break. Managed to nab one still intact off a parts car, but it's only a matter of time. I may just have to very well get me one of the miata ones

EDIT: Rudy, that's in interesting spot for that catch can. Why did you choose right there?

can you just use a generic oil catch can? I saw that orange 510 with an SR in it. Beautiful engine bay and he used a greddy catch can as his reservoir.
