Solo II brake rules

I am planning on competeing in the Stock SCCA Solo II class. Do you autoXers know if the cut off for Stainless steel braided brake lines is 10 years ago?Example: I found a 2002 copy of the SCCA rules which stated:"Substitution of clutch and brake hydraulic lines with solid metal or braided metal is allowed on all cars manufactured before model year 1992. "Is this regulation updated every year, so in 2004 a car manufactured before model year 2004 would be eligible for hydraulic line upgrade?Thanks :help

Well, on zilvia.net's 240sx Solo-II Classification page, it states that any car running in G-Stock (GS) is allowed stainless steel brake lines if the car is older than '92. For the others, stainless steel brake lines are allowed in Street Touring-Street Tire (STS). Of course, this is just a summary of the Solo-II rulebook (not sure which year) so it's accuracy might be questioned...

it would make perfect sense.

2002-10=19922004-10=1994

he is unsure weather or not the rule is saying a car 10 years old can have ss brake lines or a car pre-'92 can have ss brakelines. atleast i understand what you are saying.

Whiterps13 gets what I'm asking.I'll get in touch with the local SCCA chapter and try to squeeze the info out of them. Chances are they would just tell me to buy a rule book though.thnxIf any one does know for sure please let me know.
