just dropped my subframe and cleaned out the bushing spots on my s14. i have solid bushings and when i placed it on the hole it wont go in. its like the hole for the bushing is more oval then round. i can c light through oppsite sides of it while the adjacent(i think thats the word) sides are resting on the frame. has anyone experienced this problem with their subframe bushing holes before?

Ive seen this before. You rather gave to put them in a lathe. Or maybe freeze the bushings before trying install. Iether way you'll need an impact gun to suck them in to the subframe.

put the solid bushing in the freezer so it will contract. take a giant hammer and whack it.

Freeze yes.

Then get a big threaded rod and nuts/washers, use that as a press.
