Ok so hears the deal I bought a set of solid sub frame bushings but all I hear is that wheel hop is eliminated (which is my problem) but ride comfort is decreased dramatically. Now they say the vibration is much worse in an s13 compared to the s14 because the s14 has a "floating sub frame". So I want to put them in but then I want it to be comfortable. I want the best of both worlds, but I know you can't have your cake and eat it......but maybe I can .

I saw these and was like daaammmmmiiittttt. I should have waited and got these because I bet that "rubber looking washer" on top helps to reduce that vibration a lot.

My question is, can I add a rubber or Poly washer on top of the solid bushing before installing them so it will reduce the vibration everyone complains about. Or will that not work because I am technically adding height to the bushing. I know its not much but could that little difference "screw" something up in a way or would I have to shave the medal down to make up for the added washer. I mean If you think about it poly bushings and oem rubber bushings flex, squeeze, expand etc. so that changes the height anyway.Thank you

I just want to verify if this will work in a beneficial way. Merry Christmas

Might help a little bit sure, I have been daily driving for over 4 years with solid subframe bushings, my car is gutted and all sound deadening is removed. You hear the diff working but its not uncomfortable by any means. It just sounds like something is falling apart its not bad though.

The washers may help sure but if its comfort you want buy another car or buy collars.

Sounds like a great idea. I'm not sure why no one came up with it sooner. I'm going to stick to rubber bushings though just because as I'm getting older I'm becoming more of a pansy. The more racelike I set up my car, the more I don't want to drive it on the street.

I actually own those exact ones but the guy lost the rubber washers. So i just went to ACE hardware down the street and pick up some Neoprene washers and cut them with an exact-o knife if i needed to. So far they been good to me. I guess every now and then it wouldn't hurt to put in new ones.

We put Kazama Collars on my friends car, they didnt really increase any noise or anything at all no vibrations. They are definitely a noticeable difference but not as noticeable as the full solid bushings.

Depends on what you want to do with your car, if you want the best go full solid even though they are a pita to install.
