I need a new set of rockers. My motor is ticking like a SOB. Everywhere I go they're over $600. Even at work w/ my 20% off employee discount. I've known of the solid lifter "conversion" for the SOHC and I do plan on turboing the KAE as well as upgrading my cam. But thats further down the road. I've got a price of just over $300 for the solid lifters. Would solid lifters be ok w/ stock valvtrain for the time being? I just don't want to shell out more than I have to. p.s. if anyone has a set of new/rebuilt rockers they want to sell/get rid of I'll take'em.
