Solid Aftermarket Parts?

I recently bought a 1982 Datsun 720 king cab 4x4 for the simple reason of it was cheap. I also figured it's old carburetored and easier to work on, and with the funds I had to throw into it I thought it the better choice. I am a retired, runaway mechanic of many years and used to love the older carburetor classics. but I soon found the Japanese equivalent to be quite the brain teaser. I would love to know if anyone can point me in the direction of a HEI, EGR DLETE, and any solid exaust and intake swap. (equivalent) and by that I mean for example. On an old Oldsmobile, I could delete points with HEI, delete the EGR, similar to the diesels, or switch to a Holley sniper, etc. Also this truck happens to be missing the VACUUM AMPLIFIER and i bought it specifically to go to the high altitude and snow........HELP LOL
