I've got a 280z here with a series 1 Rb25det in it that has a mess of an electrical system. I've sorted 95% of it out but have two questions I was hoping I could get an answer for
1) the car was completely missing the MAF and the harness pigtail. I have sourced a brand new J60 MAf for the car but still need the pigtail. Can someone tell me if a Z32 pigtail will connect to this MAF properly? The MAF looks awefully similar to the one that was in my EG33 powered subaru WRX and the Z32 connector does as well so I'm assuming I can use it on the J60 but just want a 100% yes or no before I buy one.
2) On the AAC valve body on the back of the plenum is a small hex shaped solenoid with a purple, two-wire electrical connector going to it. The wires goign to this solenoid were cut back in the harness, but I cannot find where they terminate to nor can I find what this solenoid is on any of the wiring diagrams I have. What exactly does this thing do or what is it called? I have one diagram that shows something called a Throttle Valve Switch, but I have no idea what that may be(it's not the TPS I know that)
Here is a picture of the solenoid and the associated wiring that came out of the harness on this car:

I've worked on and am pretty familiar with the RB26dett from the GTR's but this is my first RB25det powered car I've had to dive into repairing electrical issues.
Thanks!!
