Yep. Wanted something more accomodating for a daily driver, and didn't have the money to own 2 cars Woulda been nice to keep it, but oh well. Sold it for $6000, the specs are still in my sig for now so you guys can tell me whether you think I got too much money for it or not enough

I bought a loaded, super-clean 97 Pathfinder yesterday, for $5700, so at least I'm staying in the Nissan family....

No wife yet, I'm just a pansy. Part of the reason I bought it is for the room in the back when you fold the seats down..... :P

either way - it sucks to get rid of it, but you got a pretty good amount for it.

Justin, I require pics of teh Pathy. The only way I allowed this to occur is that you actually made money on the car, just so you know.

P.S.- *cough*all-trac*cough*

The cost of the car, plus the money I spent on parts (including stuff like shipping), is more than $6000. Probably about $7500. Just so YOU know

And, I still ache for an ST165 AllTrac. Or maybe a stripped ST162 GT-S with a tweaked (~200HP) 3rd-gen 3S-GE...

I think you ripped someone off

$6k for a 13 year old car with a 13 year old engine is quite a bit of $$$. I would expect to get more like $5k from my S14/RB20DET with almost the same mods.

Heh, I wouldn't disagree with you

People around here are asking a lot for their cars. There's a 91 hatch with an SR for sale, it has basically the same stuff my car had, except for coilovers (whereas I have springs/shocks), a front-mount, a boost controller, and some FN-01R Cs. He's asking $9,000.....

There is no way I would sell my RB20DET/S13 for 6K ... Not even 7K ... LOL ... My build pretty much makes my car a "one of" since I used a lot of fabricated parts and put a lot of time in my build. Everyone has their own opinion what their car is worth. There is always a chance you will lose money on a custom build, but the fun factor makes up for loss before you sell your car. You have to pray that you get a buyer that will appreciate what you have done with your custom build. That way you are both happy!!!

I wanted something to drive that was relaxing. 80% of the time, driving the 240 was NOT relaxing at all. And 80% of the time, when I'm driving, I honestly just want to get from A to B, *comfortably*, without much fuss or unnecessary attention in between. Most of the time I'd rather just chill instead of winding my car out like I'm Schumacher.

I don't have the money or time to keep up with a project car right now, either.

And, family man? ROOFLE. Holy s***, I'm 22, there won't be little Justins running around for a LONG time to come. Like I said, half the reason I bought the truck is because it's relaxing; the other half is because of the nice roomy bed-like area when the seats are down

I use my 240 w/RB20DET for deliveries ... LOL ... and to commute. They are so practical ... LOL ... At least give up the 240 for the big Q45 with a lot of tuning potential. That is a cruiser and potential screamer ... I want a Q motor in my 280zx!!!
