I miss her already :frown:

Yes, this was the second M35 I've owned, and I have a feeling that I will be buying another one! Perhaps an M45 will be next... :gotme

What did you end up getting to replace it?

After selling off my 2 previous M35's, I ended up getting a 45.
They are pretty cheap now that the new Q lineup has been introduced.

Let us know what you moved on to, ok.

Sorry for your loss, mate. I'm waiting to see what the new Q __? (formerly known as M) looks like. I believe I read somewhere the first year will be the same as the current M style (not sure that idea makes any sense), but I'm hoping soon after, they re-do it.

it pretty much looks like the M but with bolder body lines, I guess the looks will grow on you after a while. It has the same horse power and torque as a regular M but the inside is totally different, way different. I like the look of the new Q interior. Hope this helps, you can also google it.

I think I am going to feel the same way when I'm done with my car payments (a little more than 2 years left).
thinking about a late model M37 vs M56, which should be priced competitively since Q50 and Q70 should be out.

Although, if I were to buy a Q70, I don't want it to a "big" version of the Q50--I want something that sets it apart as the top of the line sedan for the brand (it deserves it)

Nothing could ever replace it! Hahaha!

I'm driving a Jaguar XK8 in the meantime. Bigger engine, less power, and too many problems... but it's fun for now. The new Q50 sure looks tempting. I might wait for a Q__ hardtop convertible coupe to come out (hopefully) and pick one up used (after the depreciation hit)... but an M45 will probably find it's way into my parking space sooner.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone!

It's a 1997. The previous owner seldom drove the car & kept it garaged, so it looks great & has under 100k miles.

The problems seem to be "known issues" with these cars, so I'm not too worried... it's just that, after owning so many Nissans, you start to see the errors that other companies make, that would NEVER happen on a Nissan! Like making the coolant expansion tank out of a plastic material & then mounting it inches from the exhaust header so that it heats up & eventually bursts... I mean come on guys! Too much ale in the pub, aye mate?

Shame but not a bad "replacement". Just picked up a new to me 2013 Golf R and my friends told me it's time to sell the M. Looked at him and told him it still serves a purpose. As much as I like the boosted engine of the R, the M is still more comfortable, feels more planted, and has much more power on tap across the range without waiting for turbos to spool :D
