I have a SOHC that im needing to replace the clutch on, and i have been reading about the white bunny special. I have read that people use either the D21 Flywheel AND d21 clutch kit, or d21 flywheel and 280zx clutch kit. Will either clutch kit be fine? And will i need any spacers or adaptors to mount the flywheel? Basically i just need someone with a SOHC with this setup to tell me exactly how they did it....because as far as i understand right now i am going to order..

1. exedy 280zx stock replacement clutch kit2. 93 D21 flywheel..

what else will i need?

1993 Nissan D21 pickup flywheel1983 280ZX Turbo clutch, both are 240mm.

... mine went into the car last night.

*EDIT*The number of IMs I have received, responded to and pro actively offered in response to this today has led me to offer up some clarification.Stock KA clutch contact is like what, 225mm?Start with the 1993 D21 pickup, whose flywheel bolts directly to the KA, it is 240mm.... now comes in the issue of the need for a clutch to work with this.SIMPLEthe 1983 280ZX turbo OR 2+2 has a matching 240mm clutch, which also shares the 24-spline pattern with the KA and HAPPENS to bolt right up in this application. When it comes to sourcing the parts, use google/NAPA/Vato Zone/pep boys or whomever you go through to find your parts at whatever the most convenient/cost worthy means you see fit.Pilot Bushing: Specific to your engineThrowout Bearing: Specific to your transmission... for the 2 previously named items, I WOULD have gotten 1995 items (matching my engine) if they weren't directly interchangeable to the ones that came with the clutch SET that I bought. (compare part numbers before you find yourself screwed)

... from here, this is a normal clutch job, from which I will spare you the excruciating details. Remove everything, replace everything and DON'T forget the rear main seal like I did, caused an hour delay in my buddy getting the job done. Now you can go out and break your shiny new clutch and flywheel in.

I used to use a 240Z clutch, and it is the same 225mm spacing, but the pressure plate is much more powerful. I have one for sale for 40 plus ship with 100 very easy highway miles on it.
