I am looking into tuning up my car, any suggestion on what parts I should use? I'm gonna do the whole deal, plugs wires, cap, rotor, pcv valve, fuel filter, oil, oil filter, and I was thinking of changeing the intake filter. Should I use the stock intake or get one of those ebay ones that mounts to the MAF, and if I use one of those, what will I have to do with the hoses and wires conected to the stock box. Will they give me any problems with them no longer being conected? And the last questions, what should I gap the plugs to and what is the cheapest place to find the tune up parts? Thanks in advance.

Can I get ngk plugs for an 89 240sx? The site I get them from for my z only has a listing for 91-93 models. I would have to assume some car out their that can use ngk plugs would fit a ka24e.

Another good thing to do for your SOHC motor is to clean all electric connectors with diode electric cleaner. Clean the temp sensor, tps, o2 sensor connector and maf connector. All Nissan are prone to corrosion in there wiring. I don’t know why. ALSO CLEAN ALL FUEL INJECTOR CONNECTIONS

do I get that stuff at any parts store, and how hard is it to do? Also I know the location of the 02 sensor and connector and the maf connector, I the tps is the little black rectangle on the side of the eccs intake right? I don't know the location of the temp sensor at all though.

nobody around here has the manual, and I don't feel like spending 59 bucks on ebay for a new one. I did that for my z31 and in less than a day in the shop it was torn in half and and filled with finger prints. I could have got one in that condition off the bat for less. If it is similar to doing it to a z I have all the books, just would have to tell me where the sensors are located on the 240.
