sohc to dohc wiring diagram, help needed

Ok, basically I need to know if this looks right for a 92 dohc motor going into a 90. I also need to know if I have to splice the wires by the cluster (where the arrow points) or if its ok to just plug them into their plugs. The swap goes down next week, thanks in advance.



BTW the top is if I use a DOHC cluster, the bottom is if I just use a DOHC tachometer.

Dont cut into anything you dont have to cut.

You can swap in the DOHC cluster and it plugs right in, no cutting of wires behing the cluster. OR you can swap out the tachs. Again, no cutting of wires behind the cluster.

I am currently using a SR 7500 rpm tach.
