sohc to dohc

this is the problem i am having right now i been using the searching and i looked up other people that has done the swap and on one talks about the fuse box. i have the 91 engine harness and the 91 harness that connectes to ur ecu it this helps any. the pic is of a 89 240sx and the red circle is the connector i cant get pluged in.. and help please thanks rob

i was thinkin the same thing but the wires dont match and there is four on the 89 harness and two on the 91.

is the motor harness the same for both year a 91 engine and a 89 engine.

From what i see on mine there are 3 seperate set of wires.One from the ecu to the engine and part of the fender.TWO goes from the fuse box to the starter and alternator .THREE from the trans to the fuse box. TWO and three are seperate from the main and way also need to be swapped Why did you pull it of in the first place?

are u askin why i pulled the motor out or the wiring harness. well i pulled the motor out cus a friend sold me his 91 motor for cheap. and the harness he gave me was already on the motor so i thought it would all fit in.
