I have searched. Ok i am planing on getting a 96 ka24de and trans. It will come with everyting except the a/c, harness, and ecu, supposedly. It is an obd2 motor. What else am i going to need becides the ecu upper and lower harness harness for under the dashP/S linesignition coil

Please help me get me 240 rolling again. Also what would be the difference in needs for a 97 vs 96 motor as i have found one of those also that needs the same things.

Been doing a little bit more reading on other sites and i have read that you can use the s13 wiring/ecu/dizzy/coil/obd1 lower intake on the s14 motor. As i understand it you are just changing the brains on the motor. Are there any plugs/sensors that are going to have to be changed on the s14 block to get this to work?

I did a s14 into a s13 swap and I just changed the TB not the entire intake and distributor because it is a s13 and it has already a coil, and if your car is not a s13 I think you will need the MAF too.

you will not need the dash harness... send your harness out to be cut and spliced. Mckinney did mine. I think a few other companies will do the same for you. use the trans harness from your sohc or an s13 dohc. no ignition coil either. your air intake pipe will also have to be altered. I have an s13 pipe with an s14 maf adaptor plate. Simple swap once the wires are out of the way. as far as the obd2 check with whomever you have to make your harness to see what they say.
