If I get a log style manifold, is there any problems with the spark plugs coming in or out, and will the wires get in the way of the turbo/manifold. If anyone has some pictures of their sohc turbo set-ups it would be excellent if you could post them.

Well, could I weld the manifold with the exhaust flange, then cut the middle part of the flange out, where cyl 2 &3 are? Not sure if this will help with clearance of the plugs, even though they dont worry me too much, just dont want to hassle with taking the whole mani off each time I need to change plugs. Also do you guys have any problems with the plug wires getting too hot or touching the turbo?

My log mani has is cut out around the 2 and 3 plug areas. So I would guess it just depends on who made it. My flange came from iboost.org.

I guess you'll have to cut and paste from the image tag above. Didn't work for some reason.

the main problem will be the turbo in the way, you should have the flange cut out where the spark plugs are. you should still be able to get to them just fine with some extensions and swivels. good luck
