Can you take apart the lifters in the rocker arms on a SOHC motor? I need new ones but if I can clean them and rebuild them, then I'll do that.

yes there is a diy thread on it. I did it it isn't hard just needs patience and time. pm me if you try it andcan't figure it out. Replacing them is expencive.

Ya, saw that thread you speack of. It's not all that hard at all. The hardest part is trying to get the little metal ring out. Thanks.

P.S. $500+ at the dealer. no thanks, I'll pass on that one.
