sohc motor problems

my motor is smoking from the lower block, under the first spark plug. it's getting really hott, smoking under oil cap also...i'm pritty scared. just bought other stuff for the car and am waiting to get it via mail and now i feel like a d*ck because i'm affraid to drive!!! clues anyone?spark plugs burnt, all four...

white smoke when punchd gas at startup or when motor really heats up

oil clean and level

compression not done recently but 120, 125, 128, 126 ( though before problem)

have an electric fan with no thermo, occasionally forget to turn on but always notice when i hear the antifreez bouble

just bought something to clean the fuel, replace spark plugs, cleaned injectors...idk, any help would be valued gr8ly!!!

Is your coolant dissapearing? Those are some low numbers for compression. Mine was 165 across and it makes poop for power.

yea, the coolant level was pritty low lol i spent a while refiling it actually. i didn't fill it to the max because im thinking of putting a radiator sealant or liquid gasket which both require access to the radiator. it smokes most after i drive and from the motor itself...thinking it's antifreez by the feel of the it...hummm...thanks for the heads up. i hate these heating issues and the effects on the gaskets!!!

well i got a liquid head gasket treatmet, ngk platnum sparks, and 50/50 antifreez lol lets see what happends

okay, spraying coolant under motor, over starter....that's an ugly and uncomfertable position!!! darn!

Sounds like you overheated the motor and blew the headgasket.

If I were you, I would either put some type of temp controlled fan controller or go back to the fan clutch. The whole 1HP you unleashed with the electric fan just killed your motor

Turning on the fan when you hear coolant boiling is like changing your oil when the oil pressure light comes on - too little, way too late!

ahahahaha!!!yea man, im going to get a controller for it.hopefully the liquid gasket works dude, i didn't plan on swapping yet....just dolled up my car and now i have to sit there....

also, have coolant shooting out from above the starter...just changed my boys starter and that was uncomfertable....pics comming soon on that but anyway, i have to change the hose and then go back to the liquid gasket, etc wish me luck fellowS
