SOHC MAF Swap

i keep hearing about swapping the MAF as an alternative to hacking the stock MAF...the Z32 or the Cobra MAF...if i did this, exactly what would i need to do to get them running correctly..i know for the cobra maf i'd have to send the ecu to JWT and have them reprogram the ecu for it...are there any other ways around this...if not, can someone please gimmie the link to where i can find out how to hack the maf...because i plan on running the MAF after the BOV...anyway...im still confused...
