screws? are they on the rockers? Z24's had mechanical adjustment but idk how they would have found their way into a ka-e head??? put up a pic please. If has a z24 rocker assembly (which idk if it fits or why itd be there if it does) you adjust lash @ .015" by loosening the nut around the screw, threading the screw out then inserting a feeler gauge with wafers equaling .015" and tightening the screw till it makes contact with the wafers, then slowly/gently tighten the nut on the lash screw and remove the feeler gauge. in w/e case, you have to do this to every one if you didnt already know

Sorry guys someone came and bought the car off me for 1800 and yes it had the adjustable lifters in it i might see him tomarrow tho if so i will take the vc off and get pics. But on the same note i bought a 1990 sohc d21 and today on the way home the front main seal went out and it lost all of the oil well i shut it off soon as i herd the lifters tapping and filled it back up with oil but now it has a slight lifter tap. Do you guys think it has a bad lifter or one of the hydraulic rocker arms went out?.

I have been around long enough to say this with confidence no STOCK 240sx came with adjustable lifters. I highly doubt they made just one(if they did it would have not gone into a production car)... Unless someone has some documentation to back it up that was a custom job :)

Z24 is only an 8 valve motor so the rocker assembly wouldnt swap over but I wonder if the rockers themselves would? That could explain it... maybe??? Hell Idk
