keep the single, i see great potential in mine, in fact i raced my freinds dohc 240sx and took him off the line. Besides a dual swap would mean a new wiring harness and ecu. I like to know that my single cam is puttin people to shame. see my 240sx on http://www.unnaturalconcepts.bravehost.com

potential for what??? crazy N/A ka or t66 kaet,is up to your wallet and mind either engine is totaly capable of making great power and the bottom should handle a solid 300hp so many have achieved. Cant remeber which right now but one has lower comp. ratio which we all know means it can take more boost before detonation pokes his nasty *** around

You could go either way, I went the full monty and forged out my sohc. Its not the type of motor you see done up everyday. I wouldnt reccomend trying to turbo it unless you at least get forged pistons and new main and rod bearings. I have a list of all the sites where i got my parts if you decide to go that route eventually. Save you some footwork.

Dude SOHC all the way, mainly cause there is no check engine light so if you ever throw a stupid code it wont bother you, not that should drive arond with codes unless it's something we know will cause trouble.

Secondly the SOHC the 90 Model at least has lower comp it's like 9.1:1, so that is really decent for boost, Secondly It is really easy to work on, at least from my own personal experience, and third of all if you do decide to build the SOHC you can use higher compression pistons that were made for the DE and get much lower compression in the E, there is a post floating around here about that somewhere.

But engine for engine I'm very biased toward the SOHC even though they are both great engines. Oh and I think the SOHC is a little more rev happy, I took mine on the dyno stock and I made power all the way up to 6578rpm
