i been looking around i couldnt get any info

sooooo i want to build a ka24et with high rev for my 240. to do so i would need to mate the KA head to a L or Z series block with a Fully Counter Weight crank. to mate anything to the ka head i need to bore the Cylinders to at least 89mm.

I want to get at least 10k rpm safely

the questions is a) what do i need for pistons and rods (would the ka rod and piston work)b) which block and crank should i getc) how would timing workd) anyother mods i need to do in order for this to work

thanks in advance for any info(i am posting this in the ka24et/ka24det too)

Hmmmmmm.

Well, I don't quite think you'll get 10K reliably without frequent teardowns. Keep in mind that no matter how ballanced you are, your piston speeds wont change. Period.

Get yourself a block from as late a model SOHC hardbody as you can find. They've got piston squirters. Or you could order some for a hardbody and have a machine shop drill and tap holes to mount them.

Forged pistons and rods. The crank is pretty reliableBearingsRingsYou'll need a brass oil pump/distributor drive gear to cope with sustained high RPM'sStiffer valve springs. Better, bigger valves. http://www.sivalves.com/onlinecatalog.html if you call them and ask for some custom valves they can help you for your situation.Solid adjustable rocker arms from hybridka.com I run em. They're great. They allow you to run any cam without needing to mill the towers and they'll hold up to the higher RPM's. My stock rockers kept collapsing at factory redline so I know yours will too. ~$300+shipping.Turbo camARP hardware. IE head studs, main and rod bolts/studs.I've seen people use a MLS head gasket for a KADE and cut off the timing cover section to fit on the KAE. Underdrive pulley for the water pump to prevent cavitation at high rpms. Turbo manifolds. jgstools.com makes a cast turbo manifold for the KAE and http://estore.websitepros.com/...t.bok (O & J performance) makes an intake manifold for the KAE.Injectorsfuel pumpAdjustable FPR. an SR20DET FPR will fit with little modificationsObviously a way to control and tune the motornew ignition system. I know there's more.......
