sohc idle at 2000 wtf?

Hi everyone, ok i just rebuilt my ka24e and when i drive the car everything is ok. When i come to a stop my idle is ok but if i sit for a second it works its way up to like 2k oh yea this is when car is totally warmed up. Any ideas would be great. thank you

I had this exact problem with mine after I replaced the tps in it. The only way that I got it to idle correctly was to make sure that the signal wire off of the tps is reading about 0.5 volts at an idle warmed up and no more . Then disconnect the battery for about a half hour to reset the ecm. That may be a good place to start. Hope it helps.
