I just read a post from smug510, he had talked about putting a DOHC head on the SOHC block, i was wondering if the SOHC head would work on the DOHC block?

NOT a direct swap...and it would result in ~7.5:1 compression or something rediculous.

Why would you want to put an SOHC head on a DOHC block anyway, that would just be completely pointless.

Hrmmm 7.5:1

Couldn't you run a boatload of boost on that though?
