I was driving my coupe to work yesterday doing like 40mph and all of a sudden i hear a loud a** POP and hear s*** clunking around and drop out the bottom of the car. Look in the mirror and s*** is rolling into the ditch.
At first i though my engine blew, but there ere cars behind me so i tried putting it in gear and to my surprise it drove, but kind of sputtered and didn't want to do more than like 20mph. I was probly less than a mile from home and i dont like leaving my car in the street (its been hit and run 5 times since i moved here 3 years ago) so i limped her home. When i got there i popped the hood to check the damage.

Hmm This doesn't look good:

Hey Where'd my fan go?

Ohh...Heres some...and theres some over there..

Took the fan/alternator belt with it. At least this one is halfway on?

And since it is attached to the water pump i guess that explains the coolant sprayed all over and dripping to the ground..

SO i was pricing everything out on courtesyparts.com and holy s*** it would cost me hundreds to get it all new. The little coupler between the pully and the fan is $190.00 alone.
I recently pulled the DOHC KA out of my 92 hatch though for an SR, and most of the fan parts are in tact (everything except the fan itself, which was f*cked). I was wondering/hoping that i could use the DOHC fan pulley/coupler..is this true/possible?

EDIT: Oh at first i ws reading the numbers wrong but now i see that they have the same part numbers on courtesyparts.com so i just answered my own question. Sorry for wasting your time guys.
While you're in here, do you know a cheaper place to get an oem belt driven fan than courtesy? Just curious.
