Ive been looking at this thread. I want to remove my emissions, not going for the tidy look or anything. I have a few questions though. Once i start removing all this stuff and the vaccum lines, which, how or what am i supposed to plug them up with? Also, once i remove the egr what am i supposed to use for the hole? ive heard people using a blockoff plate and also heard about some bolt that can screw into it? Also, what kind of sealant/gasket am i supposed to use if i got egr block plate route? I just want to make sure i do it right.thanks

I followed that guide when I did my engine. The cheap way to plug up vac lines is to loop them to each other or leave a piece of the vac hose and press in a small bolt. You can also go to your local auto store and buy rubber plugs in various sizes. For the EGR hole behind the intake manifold, you can buy a block off plate and use rtv silicone gasket maker or you can use a nickel/quarter or any small piece of sheet metal and just buy JB Weld to seal it in place. Any of those methods work. Now on the exhaust side, you can buy an exhaust plug that threads right in or any other bolt that will thread in will work.

The headers that i bought already have plugs where the egr and o2 go. I assume i can just leave the egr section bolt close and plug the o2 in. Should i use some kind of thread seal for the egr bolt or just tighten the hell out of the bolt?So the vaccum plugs would looke good? I guess i can cut the lines as short as possible and then plug them up?Im gonna try and unhook the egr and block it up. Hope its not too hard to get to.thnks

I live in houston. Theres a pretty big drift/240sx scene over here. So there are alot of ways for my car to "pass" inspection. To tell you the truth i cant remember the last time i even took my car for the test. lol
