Hey,

I'm hoping someone would know this. I recently bought a 240sx that's a 93, however the speedo quit working on me. The same guy I bought this 240 from is parting out a 91 240 as well. He offered to sell me the cluster from it, but it's SOHC.

I read that you can swap the SOHC cluster to the DOHC and everything will work but the tach. Is that true? And if so can I just swap the speedos from them and have it work fine?

I already had someone try to repair my other speedo by swapping the capacitors, that didn't work out for me.

First off the 91 was a DOHC but i tried a while ago and it was an epic fail except for the gas gauge and temp gauge speed and tach no go

Ah, I actually meant to type 90, not 91.

I have the full DOHC cluster, it's just the speedo in that that's bad. So even if I just swapped only the speedos it wouldn't work?
